Addison Circle Park - Addison, TX

I haven't blogged since December folks...how terrible is that? I just loved this short session in Addison Circle Park. This little girl was JUST now able to start sitting up on her own...and I couldn't wait to get some photos. Considering the flowers are now in full bloom with our early Spring weather...this was the perfect place to capture some great moments. I really should do more sessions here :-D

Location, Location, Location

One of the most COMMON questions I get from clients is, "Where should we do our session?" While some folks come to me and know exactly where they'd like to have their photos taken, others stress out about making sure they're picking the perfect spot.

The reality here? Any location can be a great location as long as you and your family feel comfortable. My camera has just as much fun at the Dallas Arboretum as your backyard...so don't worry about me! In fact, some of my favorite sessions are the ones done at home. Here's an image from a session that got rained out last minute...so we improvised. The results were fantastic.

Family - Dallas Arboretum - Dallas, TX

It was so much fun wandering the Arboretum with this great family. They moved to Dallas from Minnesota a couple years ago and are still adjusting to the Dallas summers. Fortunately for us, this was a beautiful overcast morning and the temperature was just right. These two siblings were absolute NATURALS in front of the camera and a total joy to photograph. Of course they brought along some props as well...namely the aviators :-D
